VOC is Dead – Long Live Microsoft Forms Pro

With the general availability of Microsoft Forms Pro, it comes as no surprise that Voice of the customer is going to be deprecated and replaced. Forms Pro will provide seamless integration for surveys within Microsoft Business Applications, including Dynamics 365 and Office 365.

With this announcement, it is suggested that businesses start moving away from the voice of the customer solution and replace any surveys with the new Forms Pro solution. Unfortunately, at this time, it will be a rebuild as no migration path exists, and I would anticipate it will never exist, certainly not from Microsoft, though the community may provide.

I encourage all customers to begin using Forms Pro for new surveys implementation, as well as recreate the Voice of the Customer surveys using Forms Pro in advance of Voice of the Customer’s end of life on 1st of July, 2020.

Forms Pro is included with the following enterprise applications:

  • Sales
  • Customer Service
  • Field Service
  • Marketing
  • Talent
  • Project Service Automation

What is Microsoft Forms Pro?

Microsoft Forms Pro is a simple to use, yet robust enterprise-survey solution that integrates with Office 365, Dynamics 365, and the Power Platform. It’s built on Microsoft Forms for Office 365 with new, advanced survey capabilities to support further business survey solutions, including point-and-click simplicity to create and send custom surveys, integration with your business processes, and AI-assisted features that provide a deep-level of insights across transactional and behavioural data.
